The Antonov An-225 is a six-engined ultra heavy cargo freighter with a payload of 250 tonnes (551155 lb) developed by the soviet design bureau OKB Antonov (today Antonov ASTC, Ukraine). The An-225 is a development of the An-124, it was designed for the transportation of the Russian Space Shuttle Buran.
