The Bristol 156 Beaufighter is a twin-engined two-seat heavy fighter aircraft produced by the British manufacturer Bristol Aeroplane Company. The Beaufighter served also as a fighter bomber and torpedo bomber aircraft.
The Bristol Beaufighter is a development of the Bristol Beaufort. The Beaufighter Mk.21 was also license-built by the Australian Department of Aircraft Production (DAP) as a fighter bomber and torpedo bomber aircraft.
