The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar is a twin-engined military transport aircraft produced by the US American manufacturer Fairchild Aircraft.
The C-119 is a development of the Fairchild C-82 Packet. A Conversion with an additonal Jet Engine (JET PAK) Westinghouse J34-WE-36 was avialable for all versions for improvement of short-start capability.
