The North American FJ-1 Fury is a single-engine single-seat carrier-based jet fighter aircraft produced by the US-American manufacturer North American Aviation. The manufacturer's model designation is NA-134.
The North American FJ-1 Fury was the first operational jet fighter aircraft in US Navy service. The FJ-1 shares some parts with the piston engine powered North American P-51 Mustang. Further development led to the very successfull North American F-86 Sabre.
