The Saab 29 Tunnan is a single-engine single-seat jet fighter aircraft produced by the Swedish manufacturer Saab AB, Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget. The Saab 29 was designated J 29 by the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet). The Saab 29 was also used as a ground-attack aircraft (A 29) and as a reconaissance aircraft (S 29).
The Saab 29 was only operated by the Swedish Air Force and the Austrian Armed Forces (Bundesheer).
