The Lockheed L-188 Electra is a four-engine short- to medium-range turboprop airliner for up to 99 passengers produced by the US-American manufacturer Lockheed Corporation. Many Electra had been converted as cargo freighters after their service as airliners.
The L-188 Electra forms the basis of the maritime patrol aircraft Lockheed P-3 Orion.
